Will of John Watson
In
the name of god amen. I John Watson of sound mind and memory at this time‑blefsed
be god for the same but being mindful of death do make and publish this my will
in manner & form following that is to say I give and bequeath to my dear
brother Samuel Watson all my Estate both real and personal to have and to hold
as Executor for the following uses and benefits-
first
I desire my Sister Margaret Bostwick Watson to be educated out of the proceeds
of my Estate.
I
desire also my real and personal property to be sold on one-two-and three years
credit‑ the sale to take place on the first of January Eighteen Hundred
& forty seven. Until that time Mr. Webb
Clark
will continue to work the force & attend to the mill as per contract hereto
fore I give to my dear brother Samuel Watson my horse & Sulkey. My Watch I
give to Margaret B Watson. The debts against my Estate to be paid from the
above sales and other funds in the hands of the Executors. The balance of my
Estate I desire to be equally divided among Samuel Watson- Margaret B Watson‑Elizabeth
McKenzie-William B Watson—& Alexander Watson- share and share alike---
