the Name of God Amen---I Mary Tobias of the District & State aforesaid
Being in perfect Health Mind Memory and understanding, Thanks be to to God, and
Calling to Mind that it is Appointed Unto all persons once to die, do Make and
Ordain this my Last Will and Testament, in Manner and Form Following, that is
to Say, I Recommend My Body to be Deacently Buried at the Discretion of My Executors hearin After mentioned and My
Soul, I Recommend it to the hand of Almighty God Who Gave it, Not Doubt.ing but
I Shall Receive it again at the Resurrection Through the Merits of Jesus Christ
and touching such Wourldly Goods as it has pleased God to blefs me With in this
Life. I give and Dispose of the same as Follows That is to say I wish all my
Lawful debts paid as Early as possible - Item I Give to My Beloved children
hereafter named that is to say Robert Tobias Mary Tobias Jane Rebeckah Tobias
All my personable state say a Negro Woman Named Amy and her children and all
her increase to be
Devided
Between My Beloved Children Robt. Tobias Mary Tobias and Jane R. Tobias--Shear
and Shear alike or to be sold as they may think propper and the Money arising
there from to be Equally Divided between the above named Children & I Give
my Bed to My Beloved Son Robt Tobias I Give unto My Beloved Son Thos. Tobias
the sum of fifty Dollars and no More, which I wish my Executors hereafter
mentioned to pay over to said Thos. Tobias the above named sum of fifty Dollars
as early as Convenient--I do hearby Nominate Constitute and Appoint Robt Tobias
Mally Brogdon and Henry White Executors to this My last will and testament in
witnefs here off I set my hand and seal this fourteenth of December in the Year
of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred & Eighteen
