I give and bequeath to my Uncle Tyre Jenningsand my Brother, Charles G Spann, in trust for my beloved wife,Elizabeth R Spann, the whole of my Estate both real and personal,during the term of her natural life, provided she remains my widow. But if she marries again, then and in that case, it is my will, thatone half of the Estate both real and personal, revert immediately tomy brothers and sisters and be equally divided among them. But it beheld in trust for their use, by my Uncle and Brother above named. Imake the same disposition of one half of my Estate in case of mywife's death, she continuing my widow, as in the event of hermarriage.
In estimating my Estate, I calculate the wholeof the Estate inherited by my wife from her Grandfather andGrandmother will be taken into account and considered as part of myEstate. My wife's majority of the Estate it is my will she shallhave full power to dispose of as she pleases at her death with theexception of a sum sufficient to pay what I owe the Rev JesseHartwell. I give to my wife, Elizabeth, to do what she pleases withall the money I die of possessed of in cash. I likewise leave her mycarriage and harness and my watch.
In testimony of the above being my will, I havesubscribed my name in the presence of witness, this 9th day of Junein the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twentyseven.
