In the name of God amen. I Robert Ridgill of theState of South Carolina, in the District of Sumter Clarendon Countybeing of perfect mind and memory, make this my last Will andTestament. First I desire to be decently buried, my Estate andeffects I bequeath and dispose of in manner and form as follows, Igive and bequeath to my brother James Ridgill the Lands on Ox Swampwhich were formerly owned by William Ridgill deceased, I also Giveand bequeath to James Ridgill one Tract of Land on Ox Swamp which Ipurchased Hannon Platt, I also Give and bequeath to James Ridgill myCarpenter and plantation Tools I Give and bequeath to my wife MaryRidgill all the Lands where I now live, I also give to my Wife MaryRidgill all of my Personal property and I also give to my wife all ofmy Stock, Horses, Cattle, Hogs and poultry, and I also give to mywife all that plantation or Tract of Land known by the name of theMurphey Tract the above to be and remain my Wife's and at herdisposal her lifetime and after her death to be James Ridgills. Ialso give to my nephew Robert Ridgill Gamble all of my part of landthat came from the Estate of David Nolson, I also Give all of myNotes accounts & cash to my Wife after paying my debts if thereshould be any left. I also Give to my brother Richard Ridgill fiveDollars & I also give to the heirs of William Ridgill deceasedfive dollars, I do hereby constitute and appoint my Wife Mary Ridgilland my Brother James Ridgill to be the whole and sole Executors ofthis my last Will and Testament, this 19 Febry 1834
