I Richard Rawlins of the State &
District aforesaid being low in body but of Sound Mind and Memory do make this
my last Will & Testament‑--
Item
1st I will & bequeath the whole of
my estate both real & personal to my Wife Mary Rawlins to use and dispose
of as She may think proper during her natural life & at her death the
personal estate to be equally divided between her lawful Children & my lawful
Children Share & Share alike to them & their heirs forever---
Item
2nd It is my Will that the land whereon
I now live. be Sold after the death of my Wife. Mary--and the money arising
from Said Sale be equally divided between the lawful Issue of her
the
Said Mary. Share & Share alike‑-if her Son John Harrington. his
heirs. &C do not fulfil a contract made between himn & his mother in
which he wan annually to pay her twenty Dollars during her natural life, in
compensation of a title deed by her to him given.‑but if the Said John
Shall well & truly pay the Said Mary twenty Dollars annually the money to
be divided as aforesaid‑ & the land to be his‑‑‑forever‑‑At
the Same time I do nominate & appoint William McIntosh & John M.
Witherspoon Executors of my last Will & Testament to which I have hereunto
Set my hand & Seal this eighth day of March in the year of our Lord one
thousand Eight hundred & thirty
