of Willis Roberson
I
Willis Roberson of the State of South Carolina and District of Sumter, Being
Sick & weak of Body; But of Sound and disposing mind & memory &
knowing it is Appointed for all men to die
and after that to Judgement. do make &
ordain this to be my Last will and Testament in manner and form following.---
Item‑-I lend to my loving wife Martha
Roberson during her natural life all my Estate that it hath Pleased God to
Blefs me with Both Real & personal.---
My
further will & desire is that the whole of my Estate Real and personal be
Equally divided after the death of my loving wife, Between all my Children,
that hath not Been advanced or had their portions Given them in my life time
(viz) Samuel Robertson. John Robertson. Benjamin E Robertson. Wilie Robertson.
Willis Robertson. Jane Robertson and William Robertson and as Mary Singleton My
daughter has Been advanced In my life time Equal to what I suppose would be her
proportionable share. my will is that she have no share in what is left to be
devided and as Samuel John & Benjamin Robertson have Each had a Reasonable
horse beast out of my Estate my will and desire Is that. Wilie Willis. Jane
& William be made Equal & then the remainder of my Estate Equally
devided as above mentioned. I nominate constitute and appoint Samuel Robertson
and John Robertson Executors of this my last will and Testament--Revoking &
disannulling all former Wills by me made pronouncing this only to be my last Will
& Testament.--
In Witnefs whare of I have here unto Set my
hand and affixt my Seal the 26th day of August In the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred & Eleven
