of William Murrell
I
William Murrell of Sumtervi11e in the
State of South Carolina, being aged and weak of body but of sound and disposing
mind do make my 1ast Will and Testament as follows---
Wheres I have executed a deed of Gift to
Stephen D Miller in Trust for my Grand children children or my deceased Son of
the following Negro Slaves, to wit, Alick, Sam, Jack, Cesar, Sally, Katey, and
her four male children, George, Hanny, Alfred, & Robert, Lucy, Miranda, and
Amy and all their future increase dated the 15th day of January A D 1824 being
all of my estate I intend them to have, and the same is so exprefsed in said
deed. I do hereby devise and bequeath to my Daughter Mary E Miller for her life
time all my real and personal estate not mentioned in said deed of whatever the
same may consist, including every thing that I may own or be entitled
to And do hereby authorise her to dispose of
the same by any instrument in writing made by her in her life time in nature of
a will, to take effect after her death, amongst such children and the ifsue of
any deceased child that she may leave at her death but if she die without
executing said writing or the same should not be legally or properly done, then
the same to be divided according to Law amongst her children. And she is also
authorised, to sell any part or all of the Estate I may leave to her and vest
it in other Estate real or personal as she may choose or if necefsary to use
the same for her support, and such of her children as may reside with her.-‑‑
Lastly I do hereby nominate my Daughter Mary
E Miller Executrix & John B Miller & William M Miller my Executors.

hand & Seal this Nineteenth day of June A D 1827.
