Will
of Sarah McKinney
In the name of God the Father Son and Holy
Ghost- I Sarah McKinney, being in Sound Mind have made and established this as
my last will and Testament in manner following viz;
I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter
Eliza, my negro girl Cato, my mare and Colt and riding Chair- all my stock of
Cattle and Hogs, all my Bedding and furniture, all my Household & Kitchen
furniture; and all the residue of my property of whatever description, which
may not be herein mentioned- And I appoint my mother Mary Singletary and Samuel
McFaddin as my Executrix & Executor to this will- and It is my wish that my
mother should have the use and Control of all my property during the Minority of
my daughter- to whose care and direction I leave her till she comes of age or
is married then it is my wish that she should take pofsefsion of the whole of
it- In witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my name and seal this 11th of
January 1833 and the 57 year of American Independence
