Will
of Theodore McFaddin
In the Name of God Amen. I Theodore C
McFaddin, do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form
following
First. I request that all my Just debts be
paid.
Secondly‑‑ I give and bequeath
unto my Brother Thomas R. McFaddin, one negro man named Anthony (the Driver) to
him and his Heirs forever.
Thirdly‑ I Give and bequeath unto my
dear Mother Susan Covert the whole balance and residue of my Estate both real
and personal:
In the Manner following (to wit) My Mother to
enjoy the whole of my Estate during her natural life, one half of my said
Estate to be at her disposal; at her death: the other half of my Estate to be
equally divided between my Brothers Thomas R McFaddin and Eli Nelson McFaddin
and my Sister Sarah Ann McEwen share and share alike to them and their Heirs
forever.
Lastly-- I do hereby Nominate constitute and
appoint my Uncle Isaac Nelson My Executor of this my last Will and testament
In witnefs whereof I have hereunto Set my
hand and Seal this twentieth day of November in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and Thirty four and in the Fifty Ninth Year of
American Independence.
