I, MARY JACKSON of the State of South Carolina and Sumterdistrict, being somewhat indisposed, but thanks be to God of soundmind and memory, and Knowing that it is appointed for all once todie, do hereby ordain and make this my last Will and Testament (Viz)Princibally and first of all I give and recommend my Sour unto Godwho gave it, and as touching such worldly Estate where with, it hathpleased him to blefs me with in this life, I give and bequeath in thefollowing manner------

In the first place, I give and bequeath unto MARY AMELIA LENOIR(wife of ISAAC LENOIR) five Hundred dollars.

Item. &endash; I give and bequeath unto MARGARET LEAH COX(daughter of MARY AMELIA LENOIR and Wife of JOSEPH H. COX) sixHundred dollars to be retained by my Executor for the purpose ofbuying a Negro Girl which said Negro when purchased. I give andbequeath unto her, her lifetime, and at her death, then said Negrowith her increase, to belong to the surviving children of MARGARETLEAH COX.

Item, I give and bequeath unto MARIAH LOUISA LENOIR (daughter ofMARY AMELIA LENOIR) the following Negroes, Viz. DINAH and herchildren, SAY, JOHN DOLLY, JUDY, MARTHA, FANNY and PETER, togetherwith their future increase, to her and her ifsue forever.

Item, I give and bequeath unto MARY ELIZABETH LENOIR (daughter ofMARY AMEILIA LENOIR) a Negro Girl named ADELINE to her and her ifsueforever.

Item, I give and bequeath unto MARY AMELIA LENOIR (daughter ofISAAC and MARY A . LENOIR) six Hundred dollars to be retained by myExecutor and disposed of in the same form and manner as that gives toMARGARET LEAH COX.

Item, It is my will and desire that my debts be paid and shouldthere be any thing of my Estate left after paying of the foregoingbequests, then it is to be equally divided between MARGARET LEAH COX,ISAAC NEWTON LENOIR, MARY ELIZABETH LENOIR and MARY AMELIA LENOIR(children of ISAAC and MARY A. LENOIR)

Item, It is my will and desire that if any of the foregoing namedLegatees should die and leave no Ifsue then their portions to beequally divided amongst the survivors.

Item, I do hereby nominate and appoint ISAAC LENOIR sole Executorto this my last Will and Testament, Annuling, revoking and makingvoid all others heretofore made by me; to which I afsign, seal anddeliver as my last Will and Testament this twenty second day of Aprilone thousand eight Hundred and thirty nine.
