I, Sarah, Haynsworth, of the District and Stateabove written, the Relict of the late Henry Haynsworth, who was alsoof the said District and State, considering my advanced age and themortality of my body, am induced to dispose of the property Ipossess. And the following is my will.

1st I commit my immortal Soul into the hands ofmy gracious Creator hoping in his mercy and acceptance through themerit and meditation of the Divine Saviour whom he in his infinitemercy hath provided that whosoever believeth in Him, shall notperish, but have everlasting life. And my frail body I commit to thedust of the Earth, hoping for a joyful Resurrection through the sameDivine Person.

2nd I give and bequeath to my son, JosiahHaynsworth, one Negro man named Sarrah, and a bed and a set of largemahogany tables.

3rd I give and bequeath to my son, JohnHaynsworth, one Negro man named Bill.

4th I give and bequeath to my son, JamesHaynsworth one Negro, man named Bob.

5th I give and bequeath to my daughter, RachelHenrietta Monk, one Negro man named Sam, my carriage, and two horses,my bed and furniture, Elbow Chairs, and all the furniture of my roomand clothes.

6th I give and bequeath to my son, WilliamHaynsworth, one Negro man named Wilson.

7th I give my stock of cattle, hogs and sheep tobe equally divided among all my children.

8th I give and bequeath to my granddaughter, SarahAnn Gale, two hundred dollars.

Lastly, I appoint my sons, James and WilliamHaynsworth, Executors of this my last will & testament, herebyrevoking any will by me heretofore at any time made.

Witness my hand and seal this thirtieth day of Mayin the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twentynine.
