In the first place, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Conyers the plantation
on which I now live during her natural life, and at her decease to go to my
daughter Harriet Elisabeth to her and her heirs forever.
Item, Second, I give and bequeath to my daughter Susannah Catharine Brunson Ten
dollars as her full share of my Estate.
Item, third, I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Witherspoon Meshow one negro
girl named Sabinah and one boy named Simon to her during her natural life, and
at her decease said negroes and their increase, if any, to be equally divided
among the surviving children of said daughter Mary Witherspoon Meshow.
After my just debts are all paid I leave the residue of all my personal property
to be equally divided between my beloved wife Mary and my daughter Harriet
Elizabeth to them and to their heirs forever; But should my daughter
Harriet Elizabeth die before marriage, or before she arrives to the age of
twenty-one years, then and in that case, it is my will that her part of the
property, which she would have received go to the children of my daughter Mary
Witherspoon Meshow, and their heirs forever.
And I do hereby nominate, and appoint my beloved wife Mary my executrix, and my
three friends Robert Wilson, James E. Witherspoon and Absalom Wilson my
Executors to this my last will and Testament, ratifying and Confirming this to
be my last will and Testament.
In Witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal, this twenty-fifth day
