After all my just debts are paid, I give &devise all my estate real & personal to my dear Son ThomasBracey&emdash;excepting such share as I shall be entitled to under myfather's will, and that I give to my dear Mother during her life, andthen to my son Thomas Bracey. Should my said son Thomas Bracey diewithout children, or without a will, I then desire that all suchproperty as he shall have received from me, shall be divided betweenmy Mother, and Sisters & Brothers, or such of them who may bealive at that time. My said son Thomas Bracey, I leave to my dearSister Elizabeth Waties, & desire that she shall have the rightto use for his expenses & education whatever she thinks proper. I give to her all the of a Parent he is to be her child, & Icommit his happiness, & his interests to her judgment &affection in perfect confidence&emdash;In case my Sister ElizabethWaties should leave Marden&emdash;I leave it to her discretion,either to take him with her, or let him remain, only desiring thatwherever he may be&emdash;he shall still be under herdirection--& also I direct that his Board shall bepaid&emdash;his property is sufficient for it--& it is my wishthat he shall at once, & always have the full benefit ofit&emdash;for his education, & necessary expenses & even forhis pleasures where they are innocent & reasonable. It is alsomy wish that when he arrives at the age of Sixteen, a gold watchshall be purchased for him, of the best kind&emdash;in performance ofa promise--& as a memorial of a Mothers best & lastaffection-----

I appoint & constitute my said SisterElizabeth Waties&emdash;as the sole Executrix of this my last Will& testament--& I hereby authorize her to sell any propertywhich she may think proper for the benefit of my Son, or for theSettlement of the Estate-----In witness whereof---I hereby set myhand & Seal---this 10th day of January in the year of ourLord&emdash;1833
