Acres, of land being the place of my presentResidence, Known by the name of Spring Hill, and bounded. as follows,begining. at the English ferry. Road. at. Mrs. Dunlaps. Line, andEastwardly. as. sd. Road leads. until. coming. opersit Saint Johns.Church. So Caled, on the said Spring Hill, then. a Straight line, toJohn Reynoldses. land. so. as. to. leave, the afore mentioned.Hundred and fifty acres. of Land. west. of said line---to her mysaid, wife Sarah. dureing her natural life, and after her death, tobe Equally devided, betwen, Such. Children as I have or Shall leave.at. my Death Item And. also give & bequeath unto my said WifeSarah Belvin one negro woman, Slave named Jane, dureing her naturallive, and at and after the death of my said wife. I give and bequeaththe sd. negro Woman Jane, & her Isue to Such of my Children as Ihave or Shall, leave at My death, Item 3rd And I also give unto mysaid Wife, one gray mare and gig & harness to her and hirheirs--, the above Mentioned, property. Bequeathed to my said WifeSarah Belvin. in lieu of her dower, Item. I also give and bequeathunto my sd wife, two cows & Calves & two Feather beds andfurniture, & the whole of my Kitchen furniture, to hir and hirheirs------- the property given & bequeathed in the two lastlines also Included as in lieu of dower being forgoten to bementioned--My will and desire is that my Son in law Thomas L. Smithshall and may live and have the use of the Houses and lands Where henow lives two years from the first day of Janury next free of Rent Item.
