In the name of God Amen the Seventh Day of Januaryone thousand Eight hundred I John vaughn Senr of Clarrimount Countyand State of South Carolina planter being in perfect Health mind andmemory Thanks be given unto god Therefore Caulling unto mind themortality of my Body and knowing it is appointed for all Men once todie I do make and ordain this my last will and Testament that is tosay Princepaly and first of all I give and recommend my sol into theHands of god that gave it, and my Body I recommend to the Earth to beburied in decent Christain Buriel at the descretion of my Executorsnothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall receve thesame again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldlyestate where with it hath please god to blefs me in this life, Idemise and dispose the same in the following manner and form ImprimisI lend to Jaian vaughn my Dearly beloved wife dure her widowhood allmy Estate both Reral and persifel and after her dearth or marrige myland where I now live I give to My son John vaughn and to his heirsfor Ever and all my movable Estate to be Equaly Devided betwixt myson John vaughn and My Daughter Gineia vaughn in Case Either of themshould dye with out a lawfull heir then the above Mentiched articlesshould faul to the other---
