In the name of God Amen I George Truluck of theState of South Carolina and District of Sumter being weak in bodybut of Sound mind and memory and calling to mind that it isappointed for man once to Die do make constitute and ordain this tobe my last will and Testament Revoking and Disanulling all othersthis 15th day of December one thousand Eight Hundred and thirtyEight.

First of all I recommend my Soul to Almighty Godwho gave it and my body to be buryed in a Christian like manner atthe discrefsion of my Friends.

Secondly I lend to my beloved wife Catharine theplantation whereon I now live Containing one hundred and Fifty acresof land During her natural life and at her death I give and bequeathit to my grandson George Truluck son of John Truluck.. I also lendto my said wife Catharine all my Household and Kitchen Furniture andat her Decease I Give and bequeath one Feather bed and Furniture toCatharine Welch wife of Stephen Welch. I also lend to my Said wifeall my Stock and Cattel and Hog also one carte and Horse and all myplantation Farming tools and also all the provisions on Said premisenamely Corn Fodder and potatoes and after the Death of my Said wifeCatharine I wish all of Said property that is then remaining and notbefore Disposed of to be Equally Divided between my son John Truluckand my daughter Agness Keles and I do heare by Constitute and appointmy Son John Truluck Executor to this my Last will and Testament inwitnefs Whereof I have Set my hand and Seal the day and years abovewritten.
