THE STATE OF S CAROLINA

In the name of God Amen &endash; I Hanna Singletary, of theDistrict of Sumpter & State of aforesaid being well stricken inyears & of sound memory recollecting that it is appointed forevery person to die deem it proper to make this my last will &Testament in the manner & form following Viz &endash;

To my Son Michael I gave in his lifetime the land on which I livedwhich I consider to be his full proportion of my Estate this propertyI will to him & his heirs forever &endash;

To my Son Benjamin I will one negro Girl named Mosel & a negroBoy Wooton them & their increase to him & his heirs forever&endash;

To my Daughter Mary I will one negro Girl Amoretta & herincrease to her & her heirs forever &endash;

To my Son Thomas I will one negro Cyrus & three hundredDollars in cash to him & his heirs forever (this property hasbeen delivered to him)

To my Son Joseph I will one negro Boy Prince & wench Dinahwith their increase to him & his heirs forever &endash;

To my Son Ebenezer I will one negro Fellow Jack to him & hisheirs forever &endash;

To my grand Son Michael D (Son of John) I will one negro namedCharles & one Negro Girl named Fibby with their increase to him& his heirs forever

I hereby nominate & appoint my Son John Singletary my FriendWilliam Burgess Exors of this my last Will & Testament who Idesire to see it properly executed in Testimony whereof I havehereunto Set my hand & Seal this 18th Mary 1804.
