In the name of God Amen I William Sims of theState of South Carolina and Sumter District being weak in Body but ofSound and disposing mind and memory thanks be to Almighty God dohereby make and ordain this my last will and Testament herebyrevoking all and every other will made by me or for myuse------------------------------------

Imprimis first I will and desire my Body to beburied in Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors tobe hereafter named and my soul I commit to the almighty God from whomI receivedit------------------------------------------------------------------------

Item I will and request that my Stock by sold VizHorses Hogs and Cattle (with the exception of my gray Horse) and theproceeds thereof be applied to the payments of my just debts- also myCotton which remains unsold I wish sold and the proceeds thereof tobe applied to the payments of mydebts------------------------------------------------------------

I will and request that my negro Peter remain andwork for my Mother and Sister jointly during their natural lives andshould Col Colclough survive them to remain with him until hisdecease then to be the exclusive proper of my friend Doct John Boydor in the case of his death to belong to hisChildren------------------------------------------------------------------

I will and desire that one half of the remainderof the negroes now in my possession be given up to my Mother andSister jointly the remaining half to be worked at the discretion ofmy Executors to pay my just debts then as soon as they are all paidto be given up jointly to my Mother and Sister to belong to themforever---------------------------------------

Item I give and bequeath my Gray Horse Saddle andBridle to my friend Doct JohnBoyd-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will and request that my Mother have one fourthof the negroes above mentioned for her exclusive use and benefitduring her naturallife--------------------------------------------------

Lastly I do hereby nominate my friends AlexanderColclough and Doct John Boyd Executors to this my last will andtestament-------------------------------------------------------
