I Claudius Richbourgh of Craven County in theProvince of South Carolina of St. Parks Parish being of perfectHealth and of Perfect Mind and

Memory. Thanks be to Almighty God, and calling toRemembrance the Mortality of my Bod and that it is Ordained for allmen once to die, do make

and declare this my last Will and Testament inmanner and form following, That is to say, First and Principally Irecommend my Soul unto the Hands of

God beseeching him to forgive me all my SinsThrough the Merits of Jesus Christ My belssed Redeemer and my Body Ibequeath to the earth to be buried

at the descretion of My Executors hereafter named. And as Touching such Goods wordly Estate it hath please God tobless me with I give bequeath and

devise of the same in Manner and form following:Imprimis- It is my Will request and order that all my just debts befirst of

all duly paid and discharged.

Item- I give and bequeath to my beloved Son HenryRichbourgh, one negro man by name Winsor to him the said HenryRichbourgh his Heirs and Assigns forever.

Item- I give and bequeath to my beloved son JamesRichbourgh , one negro boy by name _____ to the said James Richbourgh, his heirs and assigns forever.

Item- I give and bequeath to my beloved son JohnRichbourgh, one negro girl by name Celia with her issue and increaseto him the said John Richbourgh his heirs and assigns forever.

Item- I give and bequeath to my beloved sonNathaniel Richbourgh, one negro boy by name Sandy to him the saidNathaniel Richbourgh during his life and after his death to thelawful heirs of his body forever.

Item- I give and bequeath to my beloved sonWilliam Richbourgh, one negro girl by name Kiah with her issue andincrease to him the said William Richbourgh, his heirs and assignsforever.

Item- I give and bequeath to my beloved DaughterUnity Gayle, one negro girl by name Maria with her issue and increaseto her the said Unity Gayle during her life and after her deceasethen to the Heirs of her body forever.

Item- I give and bequeath to my beloved daughterSusannah Richbourgh one negro girl my name Betsey with her issue andincrease to her the said Susannah Richbourgh during her life andafter her decease then the heirs of her own body forever.

Item- I give and bequeath to my dearly belovedwife, Unity Richbourgh, all the remainder of my estate of what kind,nature or denomination whatsoever it may be, or whersoever it may befound at the time of my decease and borth real and personal duringher life, and my Will and pleasure is that my said wife UnityRichbourgh shall have free possession and enjoyment of the samewithout any molestation or hindrance whatsoever from or by myexecutors or other children during her life and further that from andafter her decease then I give and bequeath all my estate real andpersonal both wheresoever and of whatever nature or kind so ever thatwas in her possession to be equally divided amoung: Henry richbourgh,James Richbourgh, John Richbourgh, Nathaniel Richbourgh, WilliamRichbourgh, Unity Gayle and Susannah Richbourgh to be equally andimpartially shared and divided between them Share and Share alike tothem or to their heirs and assigns forever.

Lastly- I nominate constitute and appoint my threesons, Henry, James and John Richbourgh, Executors of this my lastwill and testament. Revoking and disannulling all other former willor wills testament or testament, in witness hereof I have herunto setmy hand and seal the Sixteenth day of February in the Year of ourLord one Thousand and Seven Hundred and Seventy Eight. And further itis my will all that part of my estate that fall to my son NathanielRichbourgh and Unity Gale, that after their deaths it shall return tothe heirs of their bodies forever.
