Sumter District} Personally appeared John Courtney& Benjamin Courtney and made oath that on the twenty ninth Day ofJuly last at the house of Reubin Nichols in the District aforesaid,Mrs. Bereshaba Nichols Called them to Witness her verbal Will, thatshe gave all her Personal and Real Property to her Brother ReuebinNichols except a bed She gave to Sarah Nichols, daughter of ReuebinNichols, and a Heifer to Barshaba Nichols, daughter of JonathanNichols & that the Said Deceased was then of Sound mind, memory& understanding to the best of the Deponants Knowledge &belief that It was in her last Sickness about ten Days previous toher death She Spoke the above words In their presents and Requestedby her to take notice that was her desire.
