In the name of God amen. I Eli McFaddin of theDistrict of Sumter in the State of South Carolina, planter, being inperfect health & of sound and disposing mind and memory; yetcalling to mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it isappointed to all men once to die Do make & ordain this my lastWill and Testament in manner & form following, Imprimis&emdash; Iorder all my Just debts, and funeral charges to be paid out of myestate.

2Item- I give to my sister Mary W. Muldrow fiftydollars.

3 Item I give and bequeath to Mary Ann Bennetfifty dollars; to be kept at interest untill she either marries orarrives at age.

4th Item To my dearly beloved wife I will andbequeath the one third part of all my Scape whore lands, including mydwelling and out houses, during her widowhood.

5th Item, I will & Bequeath to my son TheodoreCampbell the remaining two thirds of my Scape whore lands, also theother one third of said lands after my Wife's right to the same shallhave ceased and Also my Silver watch; to him and his heirsforever.

6th Item. I Will and bequeath to my son ThomasReese the whole of my lands called "Scotts Ville", lying on each sideof the Black river road, also half a dozen large silver table-spoons;to him and his heirs forever.

7th Item. All my lands on Lynches Creek I Will& Bequeath to my dearly beloved Wife, and to my Daughter SarahAnn to be equally divided betwixt them; to them & their heirsforever--but should my executors hereafter named or a majority ofthem think it most for the benefit of my Wife and Daughter that thelands should be sold--I direct and authorise my executors or amajority of them to sell, and convey the said lands; & the moneyarising therefrom, to be equally divided betwixt my Wife andDaughter--my Daughters moiety of the money to be kept at interestuntill She either marries or arrives at age.

8th Item I Will and bequeath to my beloved Wifehalf dozen silver table-spoons, my riding chair & harnefs &horse Admiral, also the whole of my mahogany furniture--the saidmahogany furniture after her death or after her marriage, to beequally divided betwixt my two sons Theodore Campbell & ThomasReese.

9th Item-The whole of the remainder of my estate IWill and Bequeath unto my dearly beloved Wife, my two sons Theodore Cand Thomas R- & my daughter Saray to be divided equally amongstthem to them & to their heirs forever.

Lastly I nominate and appoint my honored FatherThomas McFaddin, my brother John McFaddin, & my brother-in-lawIsaac Nelson, Executors of this my last Will and Testament, &also the Guardians of my children, and do hereby revoke and make voidall former Wills, Testaments, & Legacies, hereby ratifying &confirming this & this only to be my last Will & Testament-In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand seal this____ dayof____ in the year of Our Lord one thousand, eight hundred andfourteen, & of the Sovereighty and Independence of the UnitedStates of America the thirty Ninth.
