Dear Sifter (Sister)

After wishing these few lines mayfind you well, this will inform you that I am quite poorly and havebeen so all this spring; I would have come up to see you instead ofwriting but am not able nor have I a horse able to carry me so far. I am very desirous of seeing you and would be glad you would comedown immediately As it is My wish you should beir every thing I haveat My decease; But I fear unlefe (unless) you come down quicly Iwill be dafraided (defrauded) out of every thing by a person whom Ionce took to be my friend; I Know you can save the property for me And all I desire is the Use of it my life time An its More thanprobable that will not be long; I will secure it to you in any wayyou think proper. I hope you will not fail in coming as soon aspofaible (possible), Please remember me to Wm McGee and James &their family. I would write More fully on the subject butcan
