WILL OF RICHARD MAPLES
I Richard Maples-of Sumter District. being inhealth of body and of Sound mind, memory and understanding, do makethis my last will and testament in manner and form following.--- Igive, grant, bequeath and Devise unto my Brother Thomas Maples and mySister Elizabeth Maples all my real and personal estate of whatsoeverkind, and wheresoever - which I now have in pofsefsion; and amentitled unto, to have and to hold to them and their Heirs forever,provided never-thelefs that should either my said Brother Thomas orSister Elizabeth, die under twenty one years of age, or unmarried,then and in such case the survivory to have hold and enjoy the whole- Secondly I do nominate, constitute and appoint Matthew James soleexecutor of this my last will and testament; hereby revoking andmaking void all and every other will or wills at any time heretoforeby me made; and do declare this to be my last will and testament. Inwitnefs whereof I Richard Maples have hereunto set my hand andaffixed my Seal this fourth day of April, one thousand eight hundredand Six.
