This nineth day ofOctober in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred andSeven-I Elizabeth Edwards of Salem, being Sick but of perfect mindand memory; and knowing my own mortality-do make & Ordain this mylast will and Testament.-that is to say I recommend my Soul to God& my Body to be decently buried, my worldly Estate to be disposedof in the following manner.-that is to say, I do by these presentsforever set free and clear from the Bondage of slavery my three veryhonest & faithful Negroes named Isaac, Charlott and Rose andgiving them the privilege of living on & planting as mush of theland I dwell on & allowing them Rail Timber & pinewood as myExecutors herein after named will Judge sufficient them and herebyrequest my Executors to give up unto them Their own property andbefriend them so far as not to let them be imposed on, the rest of myNegroes to be deemed Slaves & be disposed of with all my otherproperty as hereafter directed.-

Item- I give & bequeath to my Nephew Jacob, W.Wheeler one Negro Man Named Peter as a legacy over & above hisShare of my Estate, and Should he die having no issue all hisproperty gotten by me Shall return to my estate.

Item- I bequeath to the issue of my Sister AnnaMcBride, that is to say Wm. N. Dickey, Benoni McFadden & theChildren of Anna Malone their part of Anna McBrides Share of myProperty equally divided among them, that is to say in three partsDickey, McFadden & Malone.-

Item- I will & bequeath to my Sister MaryStorey & her issue her Proportionate part of my estate.-And onhundred dollars by way of Legacy to her Grand-Son David AddisonReese-

Item I give & bequeath to my Sister EstherTomlinson & her issue her proportionate part of myEstate.-

Item-I give & bequeath to my sister SarahMills & the issue of her body, that is to say the children ofJames Stuart, Elam J. Mills, & Jacob W. Mills, theirproportionate part of my Sisters Share of my property.

Item- I give & bequeath to my Sister MarthaSingletary & the issue of her body their Proportionate part of myEstate, And I do hereby constitute & appoint Col. Thos. McFadden,Charles Storey, & Wm. Mills my whole & sole Executors of thismy last Will & Testament and do hereby Disallow & disannulall & every other will & wills, legacies and bequeaths by mein any ways before time named willed or bequeathed Ratifing andconfirming this & no other to be my last will &Testament-
