In the name of God Amen, Know all men by thesepersons That I Samuel Chandler of the State & District aforesaid.Being weak in body, but of a perfect mind and memory do make andordain this to be my last Will & Testament Recommending my Soulto God After my Debts and my Funeral expences are all Paid I makethis my last Will and Testament in the manner and form following. Viz1st I give and Bequeath to my loving Wife Agnefs The followingNegroes (Viz) Tom, Gubbenser, Prince, Felio, Jack, Jim and Genne 2dI Bequeath unto my Daughter Jane the following Negroes (Viz) Elsy andHasty. 3d I Bequeath to my Daughter Elira the following Negroes (Viz)Esther and Cherry 4th I Bequeath to my Daughter Louisa, the followingNegroes Viz Judy and Lender 5th I Bequeath to my Daughter Agnefs thefollowing Negroes (Viz) Biner and Rose 6th I Bequeath to my Son IsaacJames the following Negroes Viz Bill and Murria 7th I Bequeath to mySon Samuel Rembert the following Negroes Viz March and Lige 8th IBequeath to my Son George Gadson the following Negroes Viz Peter andNaro Item It is my desire that each of my Heirs will hold the stockof Cattle they Claim and if there be not an equal number for each,the defficiency to be made up out of my Estate and also that my Heirswill hold the stock of Hogs they Claim. Item I give my loving Wifeaforesaid the Plantation on which I now Live, together with itsImprovements utensels &c as I now hold it, except the Bay Mareand Mule, the right of which to remain unto Son Samuel Rembert ItemGuerry and Clark's Plantations to be rented by the Executors unto theHighest Bidder among my lawful heirs. But the Aligator Bay land to beheld by Charles P Chandler during my wife life, and after herdecease, the land and negroes, together with all the other propertyshe holds belonging to the estate to be equally divided among myafforesaid heirs Item. I order my executors when any of my heirswill marry, or when they come to lawful Age that a bed with all itsnecefsaries, and a horse, saddle and bridle to be given toeach

Item My negro man Moses I order my executors ifAfsistant Willis will give fifteen hundred dollar for him in hand,the executors to give him a bill of sale, otherwise the said fellowto be set up at public sale to the highest bidder

Item I desire that one acre of land will bereserved about the grave yard, for the purpose of a burying place,and feasable forever.

Item I constitute, and appoint executrix andexecutors, of this my last will and testament hereby revoking allother and former wills
