I James Burket of the State of South Carolina & SumpterDistrict being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God dothis tenth day of December in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eighthundred make and publish this my last will and testament in mannerfollowing that is to say first I commit my soul to God who gave it me& my body to be decently buried at the discretion of my executorshere after to be named

Secondly I give & bequeath to my wife Asenath Burket after allmy just debts are paid all my property entirely during her naturallife and then my land equally to be divided between my two youngestsons Daniel & Robert and all the rest of the property there isthen to be sold and equally divided among all my children & Ifurther direct and hereby ordain and appoint my wife Asenath Burket& Adason Scarborough Executors of this my last will and testamenthereby revoking all wills heretofore by me made in witness whereof Ithe said James Burket have to this my last will & testament setmy hand and seal the day and year above written.
