Will of Samuel Bradley

In the name of God Amen. I Samuel Bradley ofthe state and district aforesaid, bein in a sick and low condition,but of sound mind and memory, and calling to mind that it isappointed for all men once to die, do hereby constitute this my lastwill and testament in the manner and form following.

First, I leave and give my soul to God whogave it to me and my body I leave to my after named Executors to beburied in a decent and Christian like manner---- as to my worldlysubstance which God has been pleased to bless me with I leave andbequeath in the following manner VIZ. To my beloved wife Margaret,the one half of all my estate, real and personal, her personalestate, to be to her and her lawful heirs forever. The real part, tobe her, during her natural life, and after death, to return to theestate of the above said Samuel Bradley's legal heirs. Item. Theother half of my estate, real and personal,

I leave and bequeath unto my beloved daughterElizabeth Wesbery Bradley, to her and her heirs forever. Item---Itis my will and desire that the whole of my property do remaintogether undivided until my wife or my daughter marry, or mydaughter comes to the age of twenty one in either case, then theestate to be divided as above mentioned---- Lastly, I do herebyconstitute and ordain my beloved brothers, William Bradley and JamesBradley, with my trusty friend William Wilson, to be my lawfulExecutors to this my last will, and hereby do disannull all otherwill or wills made by me confirming this and this only---- Inwitness hereby I have set my hand and seal this 31st day of Oct. inthe year of God, one thousand, eight hundred and fourteen and in thethirty eight year of our Independence.
