Sumter District ) Be it knowen toall whom it may Concern that I Mary Anderson of the State andDistrict Aforesaid being at this time sick of body but of Sounddisposing Mind and memory do make constitute and ordain tis my lastwill and testament as follows.

Item frst I give and bequeath to my grand daughterSusannah Amanda Anderson my riding Chair and horse Buck. Itemsecond I give to my grand Son Joseph R. Anderson a two years Oldsorrel Filly the Above Legacys to be taken care of by their FatherD. D. Anderson: thirdly I will and bequeath to the children of mySon Daniel D. Anderson all the children that he now has living or may hereafter have one negro woman named Elsey with her five childrenshe now has living with their future Increase to be under their careand control of my after named Executors during the minorship of SaidChildren and as they Come to lawful age or Marry the Said negroeswith their increase to be appraised by three or five disenterestedfree holders to be nominated by my Executors each one to have hisequal share or divided of Sd. Negroes successively untile all shallarrive to age or Marry. And it is my will that my Son Daniel D.Anderson be entitled to receive all the benefit that may arise from the hire or labor of the above named negroes for the Support of hisfamily during his natural life - and it is my will also that myExecutors hire out Annually two other negroes namely Charles andHarry belonging to Sd. Children and to be kept hired out during thenatural life of my Sd. Son Daniel D. Anderson and the profitsarising therefrom to be applied in Support of his family asaforesaid and Tuition of Sd. Children after which time the Children will be entitled to the Sd. Two negroes by the will of their lateGrand Father Joseph Anderson. Lastly, it is my Will that after myJust debts are paid that all the remainder of my Estate be quallydivided between my other two Sons Edward Anderson & Joseph W.Anderson to them and their heirs forever, and I do hereby nominateand appoint Edward Anderson Joseph W. Anderson my two Sons and myfriend Absalom Wilson, Executors to this my last will and Testamentdisannulling (?not sure, hard to read) and making void all otherwills by me heretofore Made. In witness whereof I have hereunto Setmy hand and Seal this eleventh day of August in the year of our Lordone thousand eight hundred and thirty.
