In the Name of God Amen. I. John Evans
of Kershaw District and State of South Carolina being sick and weak in body, yet
of sound mind judgment & memory, praised be God, do make & publish this
my last Will and Testament,
viz. After paying my just debts,
and funeral expenses, I give devise and bequeath the whole of the residue of my
Estate and effects of every kind whatsoever to John Dow and Ann Dow, the Children
of Robert Dow Schoolmaster in Camden and of Dorcas his wife to be equally
divided between the said John Dow & the said Ann Dow, in fuch manner and at
fuch time as my Executor shall think fit. And I hereby constitute, nominate
and appoint the faid Robert Dow fole Executor of this my last Will and
Testament. In Witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this
fourteenth day of December* in the
Year of Our Lord One thousand eight
hundred & one, and the twenty sixth of American Independence.
