In the Name of God Amen, I Richard Davis Being in a low State of Health but in
but in Perfect mind and Memory, Calling to mind that all Persons have Once to
die, do make ordain and Constitute this my Last Will and Testament
Denying all other Wills Deeds and Codicills of wills, First I Recomen my Sole
to God from whence it came and my Body to be Buried in deacent Christian Like
Form---and as to my Worldly Estate, First I give and bequeath Unto my beloved
wife Hannah Davis all my house hold furniture to it Two Beds bedsteds and
furniture five setting chairs two Tables One tophat and Two Chests One look
Glafs Two Pots and one Oven my Pewter Tin ware Crockery ware knives forks Spoons and Settry One Sorrel
mare of my Own Raising One black Cow and Calf One Black listed sow and Eight
pigs and a Soficient quanity
of hogs out of Stock to make her bacon at the fall the Balance of my Stock of
Hogs and Cattle to be sold to Discharge my lawful Debts and to Pay all charges
and if thare shood be any left to be Returned to my wife above Mentioned and
like wise I give to my above mentioned wife One pr of Stillards and I
constitute and appoint my Trusty friend John Swilley my
true and lawful Executor and only him alone Given Under my hand and Seal this
