This cemetery is located near the Black River.
From Sumter, take Hwy 378 east toward I-95.
Approaching the swamp and after crossing the third bridge
the cemetery is on a hill in the woods on right.
It is after third bridge and before first median-crossing.
The approximate GPS location is:
Long 33.900217 and Lat -80.163460
"This cemetery has been planted with ground palms, daffodils andwhite
bells among others.
I believe many of the stones have fallen & are
covered w/understory debris;
It is very overgrown and in need of
attention.
I will volunteer my time to help any descendants interested
in an effort to restore and preserve this cemetery."
