To H.H. Ridgway, William Timmons and Rebecca his wife, Thomas Timmons and Anna his wife, W. Barfield and Sarah his wife, Mary Ridgway, William Ridgeway, Daniel Holladay and Margaret his wife, John Ridgway, A.C. Bradham, guardian at litem.

You are hereby requested to appear at the court of ordinary to be held at Sumter Court House for Sumter District on the first Monday in October, one thousand eight hundred fifty four to show cause if any you can why the esate of William Ridgeway situated in Clarendon County on Boggy Branch, waters of Black River bounded by lands belonging to W.I. Steadham, J.C. Burgess, and H. Ridgeway and containing 127 acres originally granted to ]left blank].

Should not be divided allotting the said H.H. Ridgeway one third, the remaining two thirds equally to William Timmons and Rebecca his wife, Thomas Timmons and Anna his wife, W. Barfield and Sarah his wife, Mary Ridgeway, William Ridgway, Daniel Holladay and Margaret his wife.
