Toadtown/Museville school (historical)
Town toad School was located on the east end of the township not to far
from Meigs township. It was opened in the early 1800's and remained in use
until 1928.

Bethlehem School (historical)
Bethlehem School was located on Bethlehem Road. It was built on the site
of a former church (The Bethlehem Methodist Episcopal). The church was
struck by lighting and burned to the ground. The school was built on the
foundation of the old church. It was closed in 1940.

Quail Trap School (historical)
Quail Trap School was located on Culter Lake Road not far from the Blue
Rock State Park area. It opened in the early 1800's and remained in use
until 1940.

Rural Dale School (historical)
Rural Dale School was located on state route 376 on the hill just above
the village of Rural Dale. The first school house was built in the early
1800's and was used until 1923 when a second school house was built and the
old one torn down. Rural Dale was the last one room school house in the
township. It was closed in May of 1948. On the last day of school
preceding the closing, the students put on the play "Snow White" with a pinic
basket dinner included.

Shaver School (historical)
Shaver School was located on Blue Rock Church Road, down the road from the
Blue Rock cemetery. It was also closed in 1942.

Smith School (historical)
Smith School was located on Sugar Grove Road. The first school house was
a log building. It was used until the new school house was built. It opened
in the 1800's and closed in May of 1933.

Gaysport School (historical)
Gaysport School was located on Gaysport Hill Road. It was the largest of
the schools left in the Gaysport area. Spelling bee's were held there. The
school was closed in 1940.

Bald Knob (historical)
Bald Knob was located near the intersection of Roberts Road and Gaysport
Hill Road. It opened in the 1800's and closed in the 1920's.

Blue Rock High School (historical)
Blue Rock High School was located in the village of Rural Dale. It was a
two year high school for the older children. It opened in 1920. It had
three teachers. After the closing of the school it was used by the Blue Rock
Grange, and still remains in the community and is used for the Community Hall
where social events are held.

Daisy Glen School
Daisy Glen was located between Poverty Ridge and State route 60. There
was only walking access to this school as there were no roads to it. It was
in use until 1922.
