The following information was transcribed by teen volunteer, Jay Julian. His document was a 4-sheet photocopy in Morley Library’s “Concord” archival box. The transcription reflects the complete contents of the document. Neither the original spelling nor the grammar were changed during transcription.
The names were originally written “given name then surname,” but to aid the researcher were transcribed “surname then given name.”
The ink was sufficiently dark to be legible. The formation of the individual letters was typical of the times.
Items crossed out in the document are indicated by the strikethrough format. The ends of sheets 1 and 2 are noted. The end of sheet 3 follows the “L. Manly” entry.
The names of the Trustees and Clerks at the end of sheets 2 and 4 seem to be signatures. The text and list of electors’ names appear to be written by the same hand.
In the list of electors, note that the numbers 32 and 33 were not used, but that numbers 64 and 65 were used twice. Thus the elector total count of 133 is correct.
