THE STATE OF OHIO, GEAUGA COUNTY, SS
Auditor's Office, June 8th, 1822
I certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the list of lands returned from the office of the Auditor of the State of Ohio, to this office, its delinquent for taxes, for the years 1820 & 1821 - And do hereby give notice that the lands therein described, will be exposed for sale at the Court House in Chardon, on the fourth Monday in February next, for the satisfaction of said taxes - when the person who will pay the taxes, interent and penalties, due on any tract of land, for the least quantity thereof, will be considered the purchaser of which quantity, and will be entitled to a conveyance of the same agreeably to law.
The sale will commence at 10 o'clock, A.M. and continue day to day, if necessary, and so much of said lands are sold as will satisfy the amount of taxes charged thereon.

Died

In Newburgh, on the 10th instant, Samuel, Sr., Baldwin, Esq., aged 46.
At Chagrin, on the 14th instant, Mr. Henry Burdeck.
Their remains were interred with masonic honors.

Military

Notice is hereby given to the Commissioned and Staff Officers of the 1st Reg. 1st Brig. and 9th Div. Ohio Militia, to meet at the public square in the town of Chardon, on the 21st day of August next, at 10 o'clock A.M., armed and equipped as the law directs, for the purpose of holding an officers muster, to consist of the commissioned and staff officers of both regiments in Geauga County. The officers, except the field and staff, will appear with good muskets, fusees, or rifles, and other equipments for the performance of camp duty.

Whereas, Calvin Cole, has heretofore filed his peition in the court of common pleas of said county, praying relief under the act entitled "an act for the relief of insolvent debtors." Notice is, therefore, hereby given of the pendency of said petition, and that the same will come to a final hearing at the next term of court of common pleas, to be holden at Chardon, in and for the county of Geauga, on the 21st day of Oct., A.D. 1822

Painesville Telegraph - July 31, 1822

Notice is hereby given, To all persons having claims against the estate of Jacob Williams, late of Salem, Ashtabula County, deceased, that one year from the 2d day of April last is allowed them to present their accounts for settlement. Those indebted are requested to make immediate payment.

One Cent Reward
Ran away from the subscriber, on the 24th of June last, an indebted boy, named Lyman Reed, between 10 and11 years of age - All persons are forbid harboring or trusting said boy, on penalty of law. Whoever will return said boy shall receive the above reward, but no charges paid.
