Aunt Lucy is nearly eighty years old has no home of her own & is troublesome in the neighborhood where she lived, is thought, by some, to be a little deranged once belonged to the Mormans & lived near the Temple in Kirtland

The Directors paid Mr Upham for bringing Aunt Lucy to the infirmary_. $4.00

also for bringing her goods at another time $4.00

Also paid the family where she had been living to return her goods 21.50

Gents___ Lot No 40, in Division 5, in Evergreen Cemetary, Stands in my name and is set apart & appropriated for the burial there of any and all “honorably discharged” Soldiers and Seaman of the Union forces of the U.S. in the late Rebelion, whether citizen or stranger to his death in our midst, or who may not be otherwise provided with a suitable burial place.

    Should the death of any Soldier or Seaman occur in the Infirmery, will you allow the burial of such deceased persons in the above named lot in sd Cemetary

     Let the brave defenders of our free institutions have an honored burial place. Though like the Son of Man, they may not have where, to lay their heads.
