Historic Markers

Historic Markers Dot the County, Telling of Days Past

There have been markers placed by or under the auspices of the Lake County Historical Society, the National Register of Historic Places, the Ohio Historical Society, the Ohio Bicentennial Commission, and many other organizations. A great deal of research is done to qualify for these markers. There are many more than are listed here. Remarkable Ohio has a web site of markers, including photos of most of them.
