Maple Grove Cemetery (inactive) This cemetery is located on the west side of River Road (State Route 174) one-quarter mile north of Eagle Road in Willoughby Hills. The cemetery is located next to the Grange Hall. The property deed will be found in Volume G. page 557.
Originally a Covert family burial ground, the property was then bought by the Brichfords about 1838.
Ezra S. Graves, the former husband of Wealtha Fowler, died February 18, 1844 and was buried in the spring. The last death date on a stone was for Jacob W. Viall who died in 1934.
This cemetery is slated for some repair as a Willoughby Hills Ohio Bicentennial project.
This cemetery was read in four sections. All the rows were read from west to east, the stones were read from north to south. It was proofread as of 11 October 2001.
