| Angel Cemetery Although it has now been determined that the Angel Family Cemetery is in Geauga County, it is mentioned here as some of the interees were Lake County residents. Actually, the cemetery is now extinct, since most of the stones remaining were moved to the Larned Cemetery on Mentor Road in Chardon Township, Geauga County in 1944. After the current owners (River Valley Farms, 9970 Wisner Road) occupied the property they cleaned up the area that had been planted with myrtle by the settlers, but severely overgrown. A few stones were found to have been left. In order to preserve them, they moved them to the garden in front of the house across the street. Readings from Larned can be found in the Geauga County Cemetery readings. |
