Stephen Norwood 1762-1842

Stephen Norwood, of Massachusetts, was born in 1762, and died in Perry, Lake Co., O., August 1, 1842, aged eighty years.

He is buried in Perry, in the cemetery on the South Ridge, near the little Church.
He served in the Revolutionary War for eight months, in Boston.

[Ed. Note] A researcher writes to tell us that this Stephen Norwood is not the Stephen Norwood from Mass. in the Revolutionary War. Although he could have served as well, it has not been proven. The monument in the Perry South Ridge Cemetery clearly says aged 69, which would make him too young to have served. [C.T.]
