William R. Eddy was in the service of the United States in the Revolutionary War from Massachusetts, serving in Capt. John Wood's company, Col. Paul Dudley Sargent's regiment.
He was a resident of Concord, Lake Co., OHio, where he died Dec. 14, 1841, aged eighty-one years, and is buried on the farm he owned, one and one-half miles northeast of Little Mountain.
He received a pension.
