The following is an index to Common Pleas Civil Court Records from the formation of the county in 1825 to 1900.They are indexed by the first name plaintiff / defendant in the case. If you know the name of the plaintiff, check that index. If you know the name of the defendant, check that index.
They have been microfilmed and are available in the Genealogy Department of the Holmes County Library.
The original records are stored at the Holmes County Genealogical Society's Library in Millersburg. A donation of $5.00 is requested for the first 25 pages and an additional $5.00 for anything above 25 pages.
The indexing was done at the time the records were filmed by the LDS church in the 1990's and were orginially indexed by Plaintiff only.
