Katie Sue (Spencer) Witt, 76, of Huron passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
She was born Jan 9, 1941 in Brownfield, Mississippi. She has been a resident of Huron for the past 49 years. She was a member of the Firelands Baptist Church of Florence Twp. and enjoyed being an active member. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Witt, married to for 49 years; her daughter, Julie (Art) Makris of Dublin, OH; her son, Wayne (Leslie) Witt of Clyde; three grandchildren, A.J. Makris, Brynn and Brayden Witt; a sister, Shirley (Orville) Rutherford of Huron; two brothers, George (Alice) Spencer of Collierville, TN and G.W. (Billie) Spencer of Brownfield, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gaylord and Birdie (Tipler) Spencer.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov 28th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron. Funeral services will be Wed. Nov 29th at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
