James Robert Von Eitzen, 47, of Huron, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 16, 2018 at his residence.
He was born December 19, 1970 in Port Clinton. He graduated from Huron High School and Ehove.
He worked as a head cook for Bruno's Bar & Grill, Huron and currently worked at Marconi's Restaurant, Huron.
He enjoyed gardening and growing plants and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his parents, James Robert and Barbara Jean (Smith) Von Eitzen of Leesburg, FL; a sister, Tanya Jean Von Eitzen of Huron; and a brother, John Christopher Von Eitzen of Milan.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Maynard and Mary Von Eitzen, and Robert and Mary Smith; uncles, Roger Von Eitzen, Kevin Chase, and cousin, Mathew Von Eitzen.
There will be a private family committal service at Scott Cemetery, Huron.
Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, Huron, is assisting the family.
