Marilyn Ann (Sample) Turner, 53, of Huron, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Stein Hospice Care Unit in Sandusky.

She was born June 14, 1965 in Sandusky and was a longtime resident of Huron. She graduated from Perkins High School in 1983 and then graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

For the past 5 years she loved and enjoyed teaching at St. Peter Catholic School, Huron, and taught several years as a substitute teacher.

She is a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Huron. She enjoyed the beach during the summertime.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Turner, married to for 31 years; her parents, Thomas and Marilyn Sample of Sandusky; her daughter, Erin (Nick) Lublow of Sandusky; her son, Jonathon Turner of Sandusky; grandchildren, Josephine and Oliver Lublow; sisters, JoEllen (Larry) Michel of Huron, Jeanne (Matthew) Melillo of Wichita, Kansas, Diane Deiderick of Norwalk, and Kathleen (Michael) Mulvin of Sandusky; a brother, Tom (Candace) Sample of Sandusky; her mother-in-law, Iris Turner, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ronald Turner and brother-in-law, Michael Turner.

Friends may call Thursday, May 9th from 4:30 until 8 p.m. at St. Peter Church Gathering Space, 430 Main Street, Huron. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 10th at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jeffrey McBeth, officiating.

Cremation and a private family interment will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
