Donald "Don" Robert Sebolt Sr., 75, of Milan, passed away Monday evening, June 22, 2020 at Gaymont Nursing Home following a brief illness.
Don was born on January 6, 1945 in Cleveland, OH to the late Charles and Grace (Felton) Sebolt.
Don graduated from Milan High School in 1964. He retired from Tenneco as a welder after 26 years of service. Don was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Milan and the Free Masons Erie Lodge #239. In his spare time, he enjoyed all sports in general, but especially any type of motorsports, and enjoyed taking care of his pets. He loved spending time with his family, especially loved attending his grandchildren's music and sports activities.
Don is survived by his wife, Ruth Marie (Chaffee) Sebolt, whom he married on June 10, 1967, recently celebrating their 53rd anniversary. He is also survived by his two sons, Don Sebolt Jr. and Todd (Tracie) Sebolt both of Milan; his grandchildren, Nathan and James Sebolt both of Milan and sister, Gloria Arnold of Mogadore, OH.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, June 30th from 9:30 am until the time of a Masonic Presentation at 10:30 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1 South Main Street, Milan, OH 44846. A traditional memorial service will be held at 11 am in the funeral home following the Masonic Presentation. Father Francis Mariadas will be officiating. Inurnment will follow in Milan Cemetery, Milan.
