Ronald Wayne Scott

Oct. 6th, 1936 - November 10, 2018

Ronald Scott, 82, of Huron, was called home on Saturday, Nov. 10th, 2018 at Stein Hospice Center in Sandusky.

He was born on Oct. 6th, 1936 and raised in Antigo, WI. Ron took pride in his work and helping others in any way possible. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years. He will be missed by his fellow members of the Knights of Columbus, AA, and parishioners at St. Peter's Catholic Church. He also had a love for music and dancing, and entertained many in performances with the Erie County Senior Center.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret "Peggy" Scott; children, Mike (Kim) Scott, Tricia (Ron) Miller, Ron Jr. (Jill) Scott, Darlene Scott, Maureen Kubicek, John Keville, and Kate Keville; 22 grandchildren, who he relentlessly "whooped" in cards; 9 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Lyle, Dwayne, and Gary Scott.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wyman and Leila "Fay" Scott; brothers, Delmar, Dick, Bill, and Roger Scott; daughter, Karen Keville; and granddaughter, Chelsea (Jordan) Aldrich.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, 430 Main Street, Huron on Monday, Nov. 19th, with an hour of gathering beginning at 11 A.M., mass at 12 P.M., and a luncheon to follow the mass.

Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, Huron, is assisting the family with arrangements.
