Leslie (Brandes) Resley, 65, of Huron passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Sandusky.

She was the daughter of Harold and Rachel Brandes of Parma; beloved wife of 48 year to Robert Resley; cherished mother of Sean (Donna) Resley and Sarah (Peter) Leimkuehler; dearest sister of Jeffery (deceased) Brandes and Tim (Nancy) Brandes. She leaves 5 adored grandsons: Dillon, Garrett, Oscar, Charlie, and Fisher along with nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Valley Forge High School and completed two years of college. She was 3rd generation owner of Brandes Printing, Cleveland, with her brother, Tim, and was voted Cleveland's Woman Business Owner of the year in 1999 and president of the NWBOA association. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Huron, serving as vice president the past few years. She was a volunteer at Christ Community Meal Program. She was a lover of music and art. She enjoyed painting and traveling. She loved to spend time on Lake Erie; walking the beaches of Old Homestead, windsurfing, sailing, and performing the role of first mate (really captain) throughout many journeys on the water with her husband.
