Michael Jr. Pisarsky, 95, Vickery, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at his residence.
He was born in Irondale, OH on October 11, 1923, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in WWII.
He was employed as a meat cutter for A & P for 36 years, and ran the M & M Tavern for over 46 years. Michael loved hunting, cooking, raising beagles, and shooting darts.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Vladiff) Pisarsky; children, Kathy Capodice, David Pisarsky, Carol (Randy) Simpson, and Michael (June) Pisarsky, all of Sandusky; step children, Beth (Jason) Krisha and Brian Lorcher; twenty grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Bates, New London, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents; second wife, Millie; and seven brothers.
Friends may call on Sunday, May 12, 2019, from 3-6 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, Sandusky. Friends may also call on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of funeral services at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Chaplain David Detwiler will officiate.
Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, with the American Legion Post 83 Color Guard providing the military tribute.
