Lois J. Oltman

Lois J. Oltman, 91, of Huron, passed away Sunday, Feb 11, 2018 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky.

She was born March 13, 1926 in Sandusky and was a lifelong resident of Huron. She graduated from Berlin Heights High School in 1944.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Union Corners. She worked for the Board of Elections in Huron and was an AARP member.

She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne (John) Stark of St. Anthony's, Michigan, and Marty Oltman of Portland, Oregon; a son, Steven (Rene) Oltman of Sandusky; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Nottke of Huron.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Oltman in 1992, and parents, Herschel and Emma (Wobser) Nye.

Friends may call Thursday, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron, with Rev. Stacy Lauer-Scovanner, pastor of St.John's Lutheran Church, Sandusky, officiating.

Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Huron Avery Rd, Huron.
